As the sun sets, turn your attention to the fabulous nightlife - with over 700 pubs and taverns as well and almost as many restaurants and cafes, who cant have a great evening out? For those of you interested in the murkier side of the city why not take a sinister Ghost tour that depart regularly from the city centre?
Day 2 could be spent enjoying the Royal Mile that connects the castle with The Palace of Holyrood House. It is also lined with fascinating shops and architecture. Alternatively, why not enjoy afternoon tea in the fabulous Balmoral hotel before boarding your early evening train back to London.
