TRIP ITINERARY

St Paul’s Cathedral – First Entry of the Day

Start your morning at St Paul’s Cathedral, where you’ll be among the first to enter and avoid the usual crowds. This stunning work of architecture by Sir Christopher Wren has been the setting for many significant moments in history, such as the wedding of Prince Charles and Princess Diana in 1981 and the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee service in 2012. During your visit, you will have the chance to admire the impressive interior, including the tombs of Admiral Nelson and the Duke of Wellington.

Buckingham Palace & Changing of the Guard - Subject to availability

Next, we visit Buckingham Palace, the official London residence and administrative center of the British monarchy. Formerly home to the late Queen Elizabeth II, it now serves King Charles III. When timing allows, you will witness the famous Changing of the Guard as the King’s Guards dressed in traditional red tunics and bearskin hats march in perfect formation to military music. It is a memorable display of British tradition.

Free time will be given for lunch and our guide will be happy to recommend places to eat.

Afternoon: The Tower of London

In the afternoon, we visit the Tower of London, a historic fortress built in 1066 by William the Conqueror. This iconic landmark has served as a royal palace, prison, and home to the Crown Jewels. Our expert guide will share fascinating stories of intrigue, imprisonment, and royal tradition. You will have time to admire the Crown Jewels, explore the White Tower, and wander the grounds at your own pace. Be sure to see the infamous Bloody Tower, known for its dark history, and the Traitor’s Gate where many prisoners entered the fortress.

Private Thames River Trip on exclusive private hire to Premium Tours

Finally, we will embark on a guided private extended boat trip along the River Thames. From the water, enjoy stunning views of Tower Bridge, The Shard, St Paul’s Cathedral, Shakespeare’s Globe, and the Houses of Parliament, all while being entertained with fascinating commentary from our expert guide.
