Your Day Itinerary

Departing London Victoria

Your coach departs from Victoria Coach Station and travels directly to Stonehenge, arriving in time for you to make the most of your visit. Once at the site, you have up to 2.5 hours to explore freely before the coach brings you back to Victoria.

At Stonehenge, One of the World's Greatest Mysteries

On arrival the coach will drop you at the car park, from where a free shuttle bus runs regularly to the Visitor Centre and the stones (around 10 minutes). Alternatively you can walk across Salisbury Plain (around 30 minutes). Both options are included in your ticket.

The stones have stood on this open plain for nearly 5,000 years and were declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1986. Why Stonehenge was built remains one of history's great mysteries, with theories ranging from a temple to the sun to an elaborate Bronze Age burial ground. Whatever its purpose, nothing quite prepares you for seeing it in person.

The Visitor Centre

The Visitor Centre is well worth exploring, with exhibitions, original artefacts, reconstructed Neolithic houses, a café and a gift shop all on site.

The Audio Guide

Download the free official Stonehenge Audio Guide app before you leave London. Available on the Apple App Store and Google Play. Available in 12 languages including English, French, German, Spanish, Mandarin and Japanese.
