Open Top Vintage Bus Tour with Live Professional Guide

What better way to enjoy the highlights of London than from on board a Classic 1950s Route-master Bus with a live professional guide? Enjoy great views of the capital’s iconic sights, both old and new, including Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, Trafalgar Square, St. Paul’s Cathedral, London Bridge, The Shard, Tower Bridge & the London Eye.The Vintage Double Decker Bus Tour includes a photo stop at Westminster Abbey, burial place of Britain’s monarchs and the host for coronations and many royal weddings since its construction in the eleventh century. The bus stops again for photos at the Tower of London, multi-functional throughout history as a royal palace and a fortress, a prison and a place of numerous executions.

The Tower of London

The Tower of London that was built nearly a thousand years ago and is now home to the Crown Jewels protected by the famous Beefeaters. The imposing former palace was once used as a fortress and a prison and you can see Traitors Gate where prisoners entered the Tower for the last time! We stop for photos and a history lesson from the guide before our cruise (no entry to the Tower of London)

Photo stop at Buckingham Palace

Buckingham Palace is the home of the British monarchy. The Palace was The Queen Elizabeth II’s residence in London as well as her administrative headquarters.  We make our way to the perfect spot to watch the world famous Changing of the Guard ceremony (morning tour only) as the soldiers, dressed in their fabulous tunics and busbies march to military music.

Private guided cruise on the River Thames

Enjoy our new private and exclusive river trip that passes Shakespeare’s Globe, Cleopatra’s Needle, London Bridge and The Shard. Enjoy the magnificent view of the Houses of Parliament and Tower Bridge from the river before we arrive at Milbank/Westminster pier. (Private cruise exclusive to Premium Tours customers operates during summer months.)

Exclusive Cream Tea in The Harrods Tea Rooms

The Harrods Tea Rooms' * quintessentially English cream tea stands amongst London’s finest, and when enjoyed in such regal surroundings, is an experience to be savoured, remembered and repeated. Home-baked English scones served with clotted cream and Harrods exclusive preserves and this is accompanied by your choice of tea from Harrods own tea gardens. Relax and enjoy! * The Harrods Tea Rooms will be closed between October 6 – Early November therefore the cream tea (same offering) will be served in the new Harrods Café located on the lower ground floor.

After tea the rest of the afternoon is yours to explore the store.

Please note:

  • Tour departs at 1pm from Victoria Coach Station, Gate 0. (Boarding starts at 12:45pm.)
  • Please note that this is an open top bus tour - please be prepared for the possibility of rain.
  • On rare occasions the open top bus may be changed to a closed top bus or a coach
  • Please note the Changing of the Guards only takes place on the morning tour
  • Dress code for The Harrods Tea Rooms: Smart casual
  • Dietary requirements for Cream Tea: The restaurant can prepare a gluten-free and/or nut-free meal but this must be requested at least 72 hours before travel. (Please note that due to the overall menu prepared in the kitchen and while every effort is made, nut traces could still be present.)  The restaurant is unable to accommodate any other dietary requirements unless sufficient prior notice is given.
